I clearly said that IMHO there's no practical bug *anywhere*.

There is no bug here because as I said two times in the bug (what the submitter
ignored) unopkg is checked for functionality before really used.
This is a common pattern in Debian

if [ works/there ]; then
	do stuff
fi
