Package: libreoffice
Version: The one from the backports
Severity: wishlist

installing things from backports is never easy. but libreoffice is nearly impossible. if i try to remove openoffice first synaptic wants to install abiword and gnumeric. trying do install libreoffice parallel results into removing some openoffice packages and it cant find its dependencies. please provide the openoffice transision packages. i think this would make things much easier. This BTS is not for bpo bugs. Even it was, you sould add
a proper version there.

And fix your email style and add proper linebreaks

Wrong.

No idea what synaptic does here, but apt-get/aptitude surely don't, except when you have some
package installed depending on OOo or abiword.

Which is correct.

Actually, no, it makes maintaining the backport harder.

But providing those is a TODO anyway.

Closing.
