Well, openjdk should not spit it out, and your javasettings from lenny-times probably says gcj anyways.

OK, but then I'd guess a too lax dependency in OOo to java-common
(or a missing breaks/conflicts), not on writer2latex. As writer2latex
just puts a "normal" jar there and unopkg/OOo registers it using the
Java framework...
What did get upgraded of OOo before in the upgrade?
