Severity inflation does not help. Not even in this point of this
release cycle where important bugs won't be fixed anymore in any case.
Only RC bugs.

Note LibreOffice is based on 3.3, thus very far away from the 3.2.1 we have here. Very
senseful comparison.

Which Ubuntu version? If you tried anything else than 10.10 this is not comparable either,
and I personally bet that it's causes by a upgrade of some external library anyways (icu,
maybe, where Ubuntu uses 4.2 and Debian 4.4?)
(And all those which you mentioned in the first paragraph probably use the same
old icu, either internally or externally)
