Bug#568365: "slanted" splash screen - please try 3.2.1
Colour depth was 16 in all cases showing slash. I do not use 24 on older
Intel as it is quite often on the buggy side. Same for SiS as 24 is
completely b0rken at present in the X driver (even for 16 I have to use
sisfb).
I can try rerunning this tonight using different depths.
