Bug#579482: openoffice.org-writer: tool tips remain frozen on screen after switching to a different window / application

Running Xfce4.  When I hover the mouse pointer over a widget, a tool tip
appears.  When I then switch to a different application (via alt-tab - all
windows are maximized) while the tool tip is still present, it remains where it
is, superimposed on the new application's window.
