Bug#555026: openoffice.org: please provide experimental 3.2beta1 in i386 arch
Hello,
Hello Rene,
i am not sure if this is the right place to for this request,
but i have a similar problem building openoffice 1:3.2.0~rc5-2 (and 1:3.2.0-1)
on a debian/lenny based i386 system (with some squeeze backports, the
openoffice 1:3.2.0~rc3-1 build worked fine).
The problem is that "HelpLinker" always crashes making sbasic_en-US.zip:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH+${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:}/oo/openoffice.org-3.2.0/ooo-build/build/OOO320_m12/solver/320/unxlngi6.pro/lib
/oo/openoffice.org-3.2.0/ooo-build/build/OOO320_m12/solver/320/unxlngi6.pro/bin/HelpLinker
@/tmp/mk8Cbrpp
Making /oo/openoffice.org-3.2.0/ooo-build/build/OOO320_m12/helpcontent2/util/sbasic/../../unxlngi6.pro/bin/sbasic_en-US.zip
from /bin/bash: line 1: 21891 Segmentation fault
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH+${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:}/oo/openoffice.org-3.2.0/ooo-build/build/OOO320_m12/solver/320/unxlngi6.pro/lib /oo/openoffice.org-3.2.0/ooo-build/build/OOO320_m12/solver/320/unxlngi6.pro/bin/HelpLinker
@/tmp/mk8Cbrpp
dmake: Error code 139, while making '../../unxlngi6.pro/bin/sbasic_en-US.zip'
You mentioned a workaround for the openoffice 1:3.2.0~beta-2 builds on i386
and the debian build for i386 openoffice 1:3.2.0~rc5-2 seemed to work. Could
you explain the workround or do you have any ideas regarding to the
HelpLinker problem?
Thanks in advance
