I suppose that's this one:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2523136 2010-01-17 20:55:36 /var/lib/openoffice/basis3.1/program/services.rdb

Note: I've never touched this .rdb file manually.

Also, I don't know whether the crash occurred before (i.e. during a
previous upgrade), as it is rather silent and I don't always look at
all the messages on the screen.

And concerning OOo 3.2, note that openoffice.org-thesaurus-en-us
3.2.0~rc2-1 is installed (because it is in unstable).
