No. Makes no sense. The pdfimport extensions code is part of "normal" OOo,
whereas svgsimports is not. And I don't like adding them to the openoffice.org
package therefore (We only do two exceptions here, -sdbc-postgresql and
-mysql-connector, but just because they need internal OOo stuff to build)

That's just the binaries anyway, not the source.
Where's the source? (The author is supposed to provide it as the
extension is GPL v3)
Also note that this extension is buggy given that it dos not say anything
about that you need Batik for it :-)
See http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/SVG_Import_Filter. What you
request here is that "external filter with strong dependency". The internal
one *is* already included in our version.
Thus wontfix.
