Bug#550467: [openoffice.org] File dialogs are fucked up (not bar)

Wrong. Try to save a "foo". I get foo.odt on the disk here.

Works here. (Tried exactly with /tmp/ooo as you suggested)

That's actually true and  fixed in a fix from upstream which will 
be part of 3.1.1-5.

(This bug will handle this, the rest will be in new bugs - all with matching
statuses, please reply to the correct bugs when replying to parts of
this bug)
