Bug#507995: [openoffice.org-impress] crashes by doing a specific sequence of actions

Package: openoffice.org-impress
Version: 1:2.4.1-12
Severity: normal

I found this bug while working with the outline view of oo.o impress. I found
that a specific sequence of actions causes the program to always crash. The
sequence is as follows:

Run oo.o impress (to get the english localization, I run this with LANG=C):
    $ LANG=C ooimperss
Create a new empty presentation
Hit Create at the first window of the start up wizard.
Switch to outline view
    Menu > View > Outline
Enable the task pane for this view
Menu > View > Task Pane
Right click inside the Layouts subpane, at the upper left
A popup menu appears from nowhere!
Select Apply to Selected Slides
Impress crashes, a message window shows up clarifying this

I did this with a default installation of openoffice.org-impress, and with no
special configuration. The same thing happens with the greek localization.
Thank you for your time.
