Bug#504221: openoffice.org-writer: Default dictionary contents pathetic.
Package: openoffice.org-writer
Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-7etch6
Severity: wishlist
Hi. I'm not much of an OO user. Interfacing with
headhunters/recruiters is pretty much all I use it for.
I've just fired up my resume in OO for the first time in about a year.
Don't you find it annoying to see !@#$ near every mainstream
tech. item with pink wavy lines underneath them? Especially for such
a geeky system as FLOSS, shouldn't common tech. terms be in the
startup dictionary? Eg., Tivoli, Sam, Smit/smitty, OpenBSD, FreeBSD,
...
Should I complain elsewhere/upstream, or am I just missing a package?
Stuff like that ought to already be recognized. I know the list will
be endless, but that's a maintenance problem. :-)
Thanks for any illumination, and your efforts! Much appreciated. :-)
