Hmm.
What slso can be the reason that you somehow broke the UNO configuration
(had a similar error on the latest OOo 3.0 snapshot). Did you change any
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/*rc file?

Exactly that :) (Well, apt-get remove openoffice.org-*, apt-get instal
openoffice.org openoffice.org-.. ...., or with --reinstall of all OOo
packages, but that won't help if files in /etc/openoffice gets broken))
