Package: openoffice.org-writer
Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-7etch1
Severity: important

Openoffice.org-writer is able to write on samba-shares as long as I do it odt-format. When I try to save in .doc-format a window appears that an
I/O error has appeared and that Openoffice.org was unable to open the share directory. A further popping up window tells me that OOo couldn't
save the odt-file. Looking into the share directory shows that the file has been created. Further trials to save changes don't have success.

Local saving is possible.

The samba shares have been mounted by fusesmb, but the issue also appears when the share has been mounted manually or by fstab.

Closing using Lenny's version.

Thanks for checking.
