Package: openoffice.org-core
Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5
Severity: wishlist

OOo gives a very irritating PC speaker beep together with an error
dialog saying the file does not exist when I pass a non-existing file
name on the command line:

~$ ooimpress no-such-file-here
~$ oowriter /this/dir/does/not/exist

There should either be a way to disable the beep (without silencing
the speaker system-wide), or customize the sound, or make it use the
relevant system notification mechanism (such as KDE).

--- Begin Message --- This is probably not a bug. The system bell can be customised in various ways, for instance in KDE in the "Accessibility" configuration dialog (a rather illogical place). "xset b" is another option. Closing.
