Thanks to a good suggestion from Adam Powell [1], the libsuitesparse-3.1.0
package now in experimental (version 3.1.0-2) has libraries with sonames
lib*.so.3.1.0.  This will avoid problems with the future upstream releases.

Please, use this new version for building the reverse-dependent packages.
You might consider build-depending on libsuitesparse-dev >= 3.1.0-2.
libsuitesparse-3.1.0 will wait in experimental until we are sure our
solution is appropriate.
