Bug#454436: spell checking often crashes or hangs

Package: openoffice.org-impress
Version: 1:2.3.0.dfsg-2
Severity: normal

When using spell checking in impress, impress often crashes. Sometimes
it works and shows me some wrong spelled word, and at once on the next
word it crashes. Sometimes it crashes directly without finding a wrong
spelled word.
When finding a wrong spelled word, and i click on the "change" (don't
know if it's called "change. I'm using a german version) button, to
accept the propsed correction, sometimes the spell checker hangs and
the cpu usage goes up to 100% and stays there until i kill the
openoffice process.
The spell checker used is: myspell-en-gb 2.3.0-2
