I'd consider this a wishlist, except I spent half an a hour trying to
close some floating toolbars to my frustration.  The toolbars came up in
windows without any close buttons, so I couldn't get rid of them until I
stumbled across the escape key.

Dear openoffice.org user,

Thanks for your interest in OO.org and the bug report you have contributed.

Your bug report [0] was done for a version which is now quite old (pre
version 2.0.0).

During the last 6 weeks I sent 3 requests to update this bug report, and verify
that this bug still exists with a more up to date version of OO.org.

Since the bug is quite old, and I didn't get any response regarding this bug, 
I'm closing it. I'm using the current unstable version for proving version info.

If you'll find this bug to still exist in a future version of OO.org, please 
reopen the bug and specify the affected version.. Let me know if you need help 
with this process.
