Package: openoffice.org-impress
Version: 2.0.4-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

OOo Impress (and maybe other OOo applications, but I am using mostly
Impress) sometimes completely freezes Xorg when I am trying to access
any of File/Edit/.../Help menus at the top of Impress window.

>From my experience:

1. If after Impress start, the menu works and no freeze happens,
everything will be working fine until I close Impress. The freeze, if
happens, is caused by the very first attempt to access the menu.

2. Right after a fresh reboot of the system, Impress usually works.

3. The freeze happens on some of subsequent runs of Impress. It is very
likely to happen if the current uptime of the system is a day or more.
In other words, when I am working in Impress right after reboot,
everything is fine, but when I start it, say, a day later the
freeze is very likely to happen.

4. If the freeze occurs when I clicking at some menu the following
happens: the expected drop-down menu does not appear, keyboard and mouse
become locked and do not work anymore, the screen is not updated and
shows the still picture (with a mouse pointer over the menu title,
e.g., Help).
At the same time, the freezed system well respond to remote ssh login
and I can safely reboot it from the remote system.

Please let me know any additional info.
