Bug#403128: openoffice.org-calc: In text import preview, wrong charset is used initially
Package: openoffice.org-calc
Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-1
Severity: normal
When importing a file into openoffice, the import window has a preview
at the bottom, and a character set selection field at the top.
On my system, the character set fields defaults to "Western Europe
(ISO-8859-1)", but even if this is initially displayed, the preview is
displayed using what I am guessing is unicode.
When I change the charset to something else and then back to "Western
Europe (ISO-8859-1)" the preview is re-rendered, this time actually
using "Western Europe (ISO-8859-1)".
Very confusing.
Regards, Thue
