Bug#351074: openoffice.org: OpenOffice does not quit when X server terminates

Package: openoffice.org
Version: 2.0.1-2
Severity: normal

If the X server terminates (e.g., the user log outs without quitting OOo first),
OpenOffice stays in the background.

Unlike other X programs, such an OOo process does not detect that X has terminated.
Usually, an X program will crash after detecting that it can no longer draw on the
screen.

Subsequent attempts to start OOo will fail, because OOo will detect that it is
still in memory and attempt to start a new instance of the old process, even though
the old process has become completely useless.

Also, this OOo process cannot be killed using normal signals. Only "kill -9" can
be used to kill the OOo process and allow OOo to be used again.
