Bug#309432: openoffice.org: hangs at start with Xlib error
Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.1.3-9
Severity: normal
Since a short while, I can't start OO.o anymore:
$ oowriter
Xlib: sequence lost (0x10000 > 0xe) in reply type 0x0!
it hangs after this and I need to press CTRL-C to get back to my prompt.
The same happens with the other OO.o applications.
This makes the whole package unusable for me, so I think the Severity
should be set to higher than normal. (It was downgraded because I don't
know what violation of the DPM it is, exactly...)
Note that I'm using the Matrox binary display driver version 1.4.1,
which may (or may not) be related to this issue.
