Bug#252255: bug#252255 seems to be probably not a bug

Hello !

I had recently a similar problem under OpenOffice.org 1.1.3-8 : when inserting .png pictures with a transparent background into document and exporting him to PDF format, xpdf or gpdf are not been able to display correctly the .pdf file (the document opens, but the .png picture was displayed with a black background)... Using .png pictures with non-transparent background works fine.

So I decided to try exactly this operation with Scribus 1.2.1-1 (wich handle well PDF exports) : the same problem occurs ! After a quick search on the web it seems that documents exported in PDF with transparency support (like in the .png pictures) are currently unsupported by many pdf viewers (including xpdf 3.00 and Gpdf 2.8.2-1.1 but not limited to them).

Conclusion :
This is not really a bug, and not specific to OpenOffice or Scribus but mainly a lack of transparency support actually in a lot of pdf viewers...
