Bug#302017: openoffice.org-l10n-pl: Unicode encoded texts saved incorrectly
Package: openoffice.org-l10n-pl
Version: 1.1.3-7
Severity: normal
While English version has 3 choices for saving Text Encoded files in
Unicode, namely
Unicode
Unicode (UTF-7)
Unicode (UTF-8)
Polish version has 4 "choices", namely
Unicode
Unicode
Unicode (UTF-7)
Unicode (UTF-8)
Repeating "Unicode" twice is already an error, but the situation is
even worse:
First "Unicode" saves text as UTF-8, second "Unicode" as UTF-16
(equivalent to "Unicode" in English version), "Unicode (UTF-7)" and
"Unicode (UTF-8)" save text in some format unknown to me.
In consequence the user is completely confused.
Best regards
JSB
