Hi,

Jaap Haitsma wrote:

I for instance don't get a GTK file picker. I also tried setting
OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome in /etc/openoffice/openoffice.conf

And the Gtk UIfication works? Then it is *no* bug. The Gtk file picker is
disabled per default for various reasons. See the discussion in
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=284487&repeatmerged=no and
http://cvs.debian.org/oo-debian-files/doc/README.Debian.diff?r1=1.40&r2=1.41&cvsroot=debian-openoffice...
Just enable it ;)

René

OK I've got the file picker enabled and also my fonts look a whole lot better, by reverting to the default /etc/fonts/fonts.conf

If I don't enable autohinting the fonts look identical if I enable it in fontconfig. There is a minor difference. The OOo fonts do not change at all but the fonts of the other apps do.

See attached png

Thanks for your help

Jaap
