Bug#271883: openoffice.org: Printing a document marks it modified

The document information records the "date last printed" in the document.
there is an option somewhere to disable this (i do not have OOo with me now)

Thanks a lot.

It is in the Options dialog, OpenOffice.org | Generel.

I would never have found that by myself :-)

Package: openoffice.org

Severity: normal

Whenever I open a document in OOo to print it, the document is marked
as modified afterwards, and when I later want to close the document, I get a prompt if I want to save or discard my changes, only I haven't made any changes. I have only printed the document.

It seems rather counterintuitive that printing a document should
modify it. At least I find it hard to understand.
