There doesn't seem to be a bug report about this particular stack dump ,
so it would not be a bad idea to report it, to make sure it does not get
lost.

Rene & I tend to leave reports open if we are not sure about the origins
of the bug. Sorry if something came across as a dismissal. We are not
doing very well at keeping up with the bug reports at the moment - or
even keep on top of mails to this list - because neither of us have a
lot of time to work on OOo at the moment. I appreciate your offer to
help and I hope you can find the cause.

Hmm, if you can't even reproduce it on another system, there is not much
chance of me being able to reproduce it either, so we'll have to work
with the stack dump.

OK

I don't think so - the font related bugs are mostly fixed now and the
stack trace is completely different.

Ouch, this sounds like it is going to be hard to track down. Maybe some
sort of race condition.

Can you try installing a 'vanilla' OOo 1.1.2 from the upstream .tar.gz
install? If you can reproduce the bug using that version, you could use
the crash reporting tool to send a report that the developers can use.
They know the code far better than I, so this is the best way to solve
it, provided that the problem is reproducible on a non-.deb version.
Otherwise, please file a bug report, severity important.

Thanks,
Chris
