Bug#265415: openoffice.org-debian-files: does not start after inital setup
Package: openoffice.org-debian-files
Version: 1.1.2-3+1
Severity: normal
I just installed this version of openoffice and ran it for the first time on
a .doc file. I saw
% oowriter noi-8-12.doc
OpenOffice.org for Debian - see /usr/share/doc/openoffice.org/README.Debian.gz
running openoffice.org setup...
Setup complete. Running openoffice.org...
%
Ie, the app did not actually start. I repeated the command, and it started
fine. The problem is that 1) when ~/.openoffice dosen't exist, can_upgrade
is called, which does "set -e", then 2) setofficelang.bin exits with status
1, causing the script to exit. I did not figure out why setofficelang.bin
exits with status 1. I guess either that should be fixed, or set -e
should not be left on.
