I know that it is strange, and on another sid computer it is working
without any problems. But here ...

I know this, too.

I tried with disabled, none, kde, gnome, no change at all.

Well, how can I try to fix this? I tried:
. remove all .gnome*/.gconf*/.openoffice* etc files and started with
a clean a fresh gnome install as user -- no change
. removed /etc/openoffice/ prior to the upgrade to -3, no change
Is there any chance to debug what is happening here?
Best wishes
