I'm not sure i understand.
I used the SDK to compile cuckOOo, but i didn't think that it was needed to 
make it run, am i wrong ?

oh ok, i didn't see any big problems using the "plain" cuckOOo version, but 
that might be because i'm only at the beginning of using it and trying to 
package it ;)
