The Ximian build system includes files that control the ordering of the
patches, as well as which patches are applied for different
distributions.  Check out the files named "apply" in the directories for
different OO.o versions ("patches/OOO_1_1_2" for example), along with
the "apply.pl" script in the "patches" directory.

As far as I know, you just need to apply the patches and pass the
appropriate arguments to the configure script.
