Bug#239902: openoffice.org: openoffice crashes on startup
Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.1.0+1.1.1rc3-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Openoffice fails to start. Here's the failure.
$ ls -l ~/.sversionrc ~/.openoffice
ls: /home/tb/.sversionrc: No such file or directory
ls: /home/tb/.openoffice: No such file or directory
$ openoffice
OpenOffice.org for Debian - see /usr/share/doc/openoffice.org/README.Debian.gz
running openoffice.org setup...
Setup did not complete properly - cannot find an entry in ~/.sversionrc
At this point, .sversionrc contains:
[Versions]
OpenOffice.org 1.1.0=file:///home/tb/.openoffice/1.1.1
and there is a populated .openoffice/1.1.1 directory.
