Bug#202309: openoffice.org: hangs when trying to print or when modifying the printer settings

This is *exactly* the problem description - and workaround - for the problem
that caused upstream to release version 1.0.3.1, which we already patched in
1.0.3-2.
Our 1.0.3-1 packages did have this problem. Are you absolutely sure about
the integrity of your install, or maybe you are running from a .tar.gz
install somehow?
The library that you should be using and its checksum is:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2800544 2003-04-16 18:43 /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libvcl641li.so
$ md5sum /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libvcl641li.so
4416b167689c1cac259ede5466ee0747 /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libvcl641li.so
Please verify that you really have this installed. You might like to try
removing and reinstalling the openoffice.org-bin package.
