I've never seen anything like this so I can't give you any hints.  I'm not
surprised you're having problems with a very strange mixture of versions.

You shouldn't have to backport anything at all - the only special version
you need is the debhelper 4.0.2.openoffice that contains a single bugfix for
a problem in Woody, and that is available from the debian-openoffice
mirrors.

All other dependencies can be satisfied just by installing packages from the
distribution.  I suggest you make a clean chroot environment and build in
there.
