Bug#200795: openoffice.org: Crash of XFree during scrolling in OpenOffice
Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.0.3-2
Severity: normal
I have experienced repeated crashes of X during scrolling of documents in
openoffice.org. I have seen this mostly with documents created with Word
XP.
I am using version 4.2.1-6 of the XFree packages (this is testing) and I am
using the "mga" server with a G400 running 1600x1200 in 24bit colour at
100dpi.
The XFree86 log of the session that crashed ends with the following text
GetModeLine - scrn: 0 clock: 229500
GetModeLine - hdsp: 1600 hbeg: 1664 hend: 1856 httl: 2160
vdsp: 1200 vbeg: 1201 vend: 1204 vttl: 1250 flags: 5
Everything before that looks as normal.
There is also:
Jul 10 20:42:27 pc461 gnome-name-server[986]: input condition is: 0x11, exiting
hotly followed by:
Jul 10 20:42:29 pc461 gdm[16487]: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error
- Restarting :0
In the syslog at the same time.
