Sure, but shouldn't the presentation program just display the same
error? Maybe it's a coincidence, but it's probably worth looking at.

Well, it seems to work from galeon, or rxvt here, although I suspect
it probably works from a variety of things. I use fvwm2 myself,
although I have no idea whether that has any bearing on things.
