Bug#186010: openoffice.org-l10n-pl: Bibliography database should have set encoding to System, not DOS 850
Package: openoffice.org-l10n-pl
Version: 1.0.2-2
Severity: normal
*** Please type your report below this line ***
Bibliography database does not work with entries containing polish
diactric letters (they are changed to question marks). The investigation
shown that datasource for bibliography uses old dBase system with
default encoding set to ancient 850 encoding. This make bibliography
database unusable for Polens (polish diactric letters was in 852
codepage I think).
After switching to 'System' everything works great, but switching
datasource encoding to 'System' is not so obvious for most users.
I think It should be set to this encoding by default - I think it won't
harm any other languages.
