Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.0.2-2.3pre2+woody.AFK.1
Severity: wishlist
The file /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice (the shell script used to
launch OpenOffice.org) contains some options for file locking that can
be commented out if necessary:
#
# STAR_PROFILE_LOCKING_DISABLED=1
# export STAR_PROFILE_LOCKING_DISABLED
#
#
# SAL_ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING=1
# export SAL_ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING
#
However, any changes made to this file will get overwritten when
OpenOffice.org is updated. I assume this is because the file is not
really a configuration file.
Could Debian provide these same options somewhere in /etc/openoffice
instead?
