I know, I had already done that.

I have figured out in the meantime that my problem was caused by the fact 
that I had the directory, I was building in, mounted from the same disk with

mount --bind

I don't know what exactly makes idlc segfault, but later in the build process 
the setup failed as well. The reason is that the function __getFullPath in
oo_1.0.1_src/setup2/mow/source/loader/loader.c fails. Has anybody else 
experienced that?
