failure starting openoffice after installing via apt

Greetings:
I noticed two issues with OpenOffice.org. One is that openoffice doesn't
actually start/run after installing via apt. Output is:
{bogus.ampr.org} U=jaye
Dir=~ pts/5$ openoffice
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/setup.bin: error while loading shared libraries:
libstlport_gcc.so.4.5:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/openoffice: /home/jaye/.openoffice/soffice: No such file or directory
The second issue is:
Dir=~ pts/5$ man openoffice
No manual entry for openoffice
{bogus.ampr.org} U=jaye
Dir=~ pts/5$ man openoffice.org
No manual entry for openoffice.org
I don't see a doc section to gather info regarding the setup of OO. I know
with SO5x, one had to run a setup or setup/net. This is required here?
Please CC me as I am not on this list.
apt sources:
deb http://www.mx1.ru/~chris/openoffice unstable main contrib
deb-src http://www.mx1.ru/~chris/openoffice unstable main contrib
TIA
tatah
