Possible problem with libsvl641li.so

A while ago, I installed a few packages from "unstable" onto my mostly stable debian distribution. Before doing this, openoffice (which I had installed from the debian packages mirrored at http://ftp.openoffice.tuxfamily.org/openoffice) ran just fine. Since then, running openoffice just returns "Aborted". When I tried to run soffice.bin directly, I got

$ soffice.bin
soffice.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libsvl641li.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I next tried updating /etc/ld.so.conf to include /usr/lib/openoffice/program, and ran ldconf. Now, both soffice and soffice.bin come back as "Aborted," with no other error messages.

I'm hoping someone has seen this before, or can point me in the right direction towards diagnosing this problem. I have the following packages installed:

ii  openoffice.org 1.0.1-6        high-quality office productivity suite
ii openoffice.org 1.0.1-5+woody6 OpenOffice.org office suite binary files
ii openoffice.org 1.0.1-6+4 Debian specific parts of OpenOffice.org pack ii openoffice.org 1.0.1-5+woody6 english_us language package for openoffice.o
