I had the same thing happen to me this afternoon.
(Reading database ... 62717 files and directories currently installed.)

The mirror I use is
deb http://ftp.freenet.de/pub/ftp.vpn-junkies.de/openoffice/ woody main
contrib
Perhaps the new one hasn't hit that mirror yet? Or is something else
going on. ?
