You can run the following command in a shell:

LANG=fr oowriter (or any other OOo programs)

It works perfectly for me ;)

How can we make this command directly from shortcuts in KDE or GNOME
desktops ?
 
I've another question, when i remove the openoffice.org-l10n-en package,
OOo programs won't start, is there any issue to not install this package
and running OOo programs ?
