openoffice.org: file copying errors at workstation install

When doing a workstation install (via
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/setup, as mentioned on the Debian
OpenOffice webpages) the installation fails completely due to several
file copying errors.
When doing a "rm ~/.sversionrc ; rm -r ~/.openoffice ; openoffice" as
mentioned in the README.Debian files, the installation finishes with
these error messages:

Not much done yet, but I seems to have a working OOo now -- but what
about the missing files in the error message?
