Ok I can get oo runing by first running it as root then copying the
/root/.openoffice dir over to my home directory and chown chgrp. So my
guess would be somewhere oo is trying to copy something using hardlinks
which fails when you try to install into /home/* as it's a differnt
partition but sucsseds installing into /root as it's on the same
partion. Do other peoples experiances back this up?
