2) The git repo is now on salsa.debian.org apparently.  I have created an account on this gitlab server (jbect-guest), can someone please add me as a developper on octave-stk.git ?

Done.  You are now a member of the Debian Octave Group @ Salsa: https://salsa.debian.org/groups/pkg-octave-team/-/group_members

Thank you.

3) Beyond these two easy changes, is there anything else that I need to know before I start pushing commits ?

Nothing special.  The package has already migrated to dh-octave. Just follow carefully the git-buildpackage conventions (tags, pristine-tar, etc.) and everything should be fine.

Ok, I will be careful...

I have imported octave-stk 2.5.0 from upstream.  I hope I did it right.

If anyone wants to check the repo and the way I did this:

comments are welcome.

Hi DoG,

I have taken a few more steps towards a 2.5.0-1 release for octave-stk : d/copyright and d/patches have been updated.

I am currently trying to test in amd64/unstable using cowbuilder, but I am hitting a problem that seems related to the recent changes discussed on this list.

More precisely, "gbp buildpackage --git-pbuilder" fails because dh-octave is missing.  More details : here.

What am I doing wrong ?
