Re: [Pkg-octave-devel] Bug#452529: Bug#452529: several new upstream versions available

Ok, here is my first try at making a package :-)

http://www.fys.ku.dk/~ojs/octave-statistics.tgz

In this is the .tar.gz file from octave-forge and the debian dir that
the package is built in (I have issued dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us for
this dir as a normal user).

I have tried to install it in a chroot sid environment and that went
well, upon starting octave I had access to the functions.

One problem though and that is when deinstalling the package then it
removes the /usr/share/octave/packages directory and then I can't
rebuild the octave database over installed packages since it needs
that directory. Maby that directory (or where ever the packages should
be placed) should be created by octave2.9 itself?

Please take a look and give me feedback on what can be done better,
this is really rough at the moment and not done well, just a first
sketch.

DISCLAMER!
Don't install this on your system, create a chroot or something to
test this.

Best regards

Oli
