[Pkg-octave-devel] C++ ABI transition
As you probably noticed, several bug reports have been filed against the
octave-related packages in Debian regarding the C++ ABI transition. I
had a burst of activity these last days and am finishing the work on the
octave2.1 and octave-forge packages. You can hold your breathe, the
packages will soon be uploaded to unstable.
The good news is that both packages are building and working correctly
with g++ 4.0.2, the latest version in sid (besides the tanh minor
problem,
If you are eager to contributed (and releave some of burden from my
shoulders), please start looking at the other packages that need
recompilation. Please, drop a note here telling your plans, to avoid
duplication of work.
