Bug#1131231: ocaml-qcheck: d/tests/control depends on ocaml-nox which has been removed
Source: ocaml-qcheck
Version: 0.91-1
Severity: serious
Justification: https://release.debian.org/testing/rc_policy.txt 6a
Usertags: ocaml-nox-rm
User: debian-ci@lists.debian.org
Usertags: regression
X-Debbugs-Cc: ocaml@packages.debian.org
When the ocaml-nox transitional package was removed in
<https://bugs.debian.org/1125099>, uses of that package in Depends and
Build-Depends were removed first as blockers, but uses of that package
in autopkgtest Depends were not checked. As a result, packages like
ocaml-qcheck now have their autopkgtests consistently failing, which
prevents other regressions from being detected.
Please replace the dependency on ocaml-nox in debian/tests/control with
a dependency on its replacement (presumably ocaml).
(ocaml maintainers: I'm going to report bugs for other instances of
this, but I won't cc ocaml@packages.debian.org on all of them. See above
for the usertag used.)
Thanks,
smcv
