Dear John,

Sorry for taking so long to respond, I was waiting for the Trixie release.

I've made a package for Cpdf (which depends on CamlPDF, already packaged). Cpdf has recently changed license, and would now be acceptable in Debian.
Being my first package, I'm bound to need some help. I also understand I need to have someone act as a mentor to get it ready & uploaded.
Please volunteer if you're willing to do that...
Here's a preview of the package (heavily modified from the CamlPDF package):

The package looks good. I've imported it on salsa:

 https://salsa.debian.org/ocaml-team/cpdf

The next steps are:

- create an ITP (this one should have been done long ago :)
- close the ITP in your package
- upload the package and wait for NEW processing

From now on, I can take care of everything (in which case I will add myself to Uploaders)... unless you wish to get more involved in Debian development, in which case I can guide you (or "mentor") through the procedures.

I'm happy for you to do everything - but do you mean everything including the three steps above, or do I do the three steps above?

Thanks,

John
